Design Notes:

• Teeny tiny and chubby
• Fur is short but very plush
• Short, rounded bird wings (like a finch)
• Short bird tail
• Toe beans and tongue are the same purple as her nose

Character Notes:

• Does molecular work at a bioarchaeology lab. The lab theoretically works mostly on ancient remains, but the team periodically gets roped into doing forensic work.
• Her training is in genetics, not felineology or forensics, but her knowledge of evolution and molecular biology techniques has really benefitted the lab.
• She's the kind of perfectionist who holds everyone around her to her perfectionist standards and then gets really frustrated when they fall short.
• If you don't take her seriously or give her credit for her work, she WILL yell at you.
• And if you touch her without permission, she may headbutt you in the face. (She doesn't mind a nice snuggle or mutual grooming session with loved ones, though, as long as she has the chance to opt out.)
• Don't be fooled by her scientific mind and grumpy attitude: she has an eye (and ear) for beauty and can find it in everything from the patterns in DNA to the sound waves in songs and the spectacle and predictability of a sunrise.
• Basically lives on fruit-and-nut trail mix and various berry juices! She has a stash in the break room at work. She'll share if you ask, but don't you dare help yourself when she's not around.
• Has Bipolar II, but has it fairly under control with meds.
