Aiden was born into a conservative family in the very north of America and was the only child of his parents, and therefore there were always more demands on him. From an early age, the father strictly raised his son so that he would grow up to be a “real man.” The father’s temperament was really bad - he was not embarrassed to scold his wife in front of the child if she did something, in his opinion, not well enough, or simply showed “excessive” tenderness towards his son.

Seeing all this, little Aiden was uncomfortable with his parents, he was a quiet and unproblematic child, but in his soul, he wanted more freedom. He felt sorry for his mother, especially when she began to cry as soon as his father left for work - the boy tried to hug her, although he himself was afraid that his father would sense their weakness and return with a scandal.
Over the years, this situation began to bother the boy, he tried to protect his mother, even if she herself drove him away and asked him not to do this. Aid understood that he needed air, he needed freedom, and he acquired this freedom in the company of the similar boys. The similar guys from conservative families, while they themselves were not like their parents - they were free from prejudice, at least in each other’s company. Aid liked to spend all his free time with them, which he kept silent about from his parents. And he had to lie even more when in this company he met his first love - a dark-skinned guy from the south of the states. Not only was it same-sex love, but also interracial - Aiden understood that this would not end well if anyone found out about it, but their feelings for each other were stronger than fear.

The young man became completely secretive, which aroused great suspicion among his parents, who were told by one of the neighbors that Lawrence Jr. was involved in an affair with someone. In order to ward off all suspicions, Aiden quickly found himself a girlfriend, but in fact he didn’t love her. He treated her well, he had to play love with her, and she believed and did not suspect where her boyfriend was running away after. He was very ashamed in front of her, but at least his parents abandoned their suspicions.
Not for long. No matter how the guys tried to hide their relationship, the brother of Aiden’s “mistress” found out the truth. By chance. But this was enough to spark a big scandal, as a result of which Aid was sent to conversion therapy, and his boyfriend was severely beaten by that same brother.

Returning home, Lawrence learns that his beloved died from severe injuries - his parents did not find money for treatment, and the culprit of the fight was only fined. The situation in the family itself after the son’s return was also tense. He didn't want to stay there at all. Not with these people.

Broken and devastated, Aid packed a small suitcase and left home early in the morning, following the train to the big city where a new beginning awaited him. There he settled down anywhere, as long as there was enough for a bed, and at night he walked around the streets and bars illuminated by signs. Thus, he has met a couple of men living in a gay hostel and, inspired by the guy’s story, invited him to live with them. There, Aiden has met many creative and extraordinary individuals and began to discover his potential - first as an apprentice to a tailor-fashion designer, and later debuting his own designs. In the course of his creative development, the guy tried on his own creations, which, in the future, gave impetus to his passion for drag shows.

Such talent did not remain in the shadows, and Aid quickly became popular and his designs were in demand. The beginning of a new stage in Lawrence’s personal and creative development could be considered his acquaintance with Lucille, an extraordinary and incredibly interesting actress, with whom they very quickly became good friends. They inspired each other and motivated each other to do crazy creative experiments, which attracted even more mysterious attention that Aiden didn’t even know about. Lucille may not have been the first to have her eye on such talent... but she was definitely late with her plans. Her friend suddenly appeared before her in a new role - now he was a vampire, the same relative, but... nosferatu. Now his skin was pale and transparent like snow, under which blue and red venous patterns were clearly visible. The given embrace did not disfigure the young man beyond recognition, but now he clearly lacked that vibrant blush and... hair. Thanks to Lucille and her support, Lawrence was not at a loss, and soon began to wear not only dresses, but also wigs and makeup.

He gave this appeal a special meaning and, thus, Nyx was born - the patroness of the night, the companion of those lost in the darkness of the chaos of life and unlife.
