Alcaeus is a darkness demon that rules over a territory in the demonic realm. He's somewhere in the realm of lawful neutral to chaotic good, believing in manners and respect, but also picking and choosing what he stands behind based on his personal preferences. That being said, he is for all intents and purposes a very decent person. He has a tendency to take in those who are in need and help to get them back on their feet, or in the cases of children, to simply adopt and raise them. Family ties are incredibly important to him, and as a result, he's also quite the doting uncle to his nephew Melanthios. As for Alcaeus's own children, while he hasn't technically fathered any biological children, he has adopted and raised four. One from infancy (his eldest, Philetos) and three as teens (his middle children, raven demon twins Kuroran and Kurolan, and his youngest, a shifter named Analise).
Alcaeus has a very aloof and commanding presence among those he isn't close to or familiar with, and is usually sharp and pointed with his words. His family and friends, however, get to see his warmer side and know how to read his love language well.
