Harleistia's fourth daughter was incredibly tempermental as a young child. Now that she's older, though, that side of her seems to have cooled down significantly... When she first set off on her first excursion to the mortal world, she found herself swept up in the middle of a grand festival celebrating the then-waning summer. It was there that she met a mortal boy who proclaimed his love for her at first sight... She rejected him mercilessly, but he found the scathing rejection to be so poetic that he tried to convince her to sing for that evening's show. She rejected him once more, until his sister stepped onto the scene to ask for the favor herself... In the end, Maria charmed the whole town with her voice. Literally! It became the first time that the festival extended itself to the entirety of Maria's monthlong stay on top of spreading to at least three different surrounding towns.

Despite the sweet demeanor she displays nowadays, Maria loves to gossip and is surprisingly petty. She's a lovely soprano with the innate ability to influence people and animals with her songs.
