Profile
[ depressed || withdrawn || modest || self-deprecating || obedient ]
Fog is a makoatl who suffers from depression. He was a happy enough child, with just occasional dark periods, but as an adult lately there have seemed to be more bad days than good. He is happiest on rainy or foggy days. He isn't sure if this is because of his name, or if it's just a coincidence. Fog makes himself feel better by leaving confessions about his fears and secrets written in public places - such as on bathroom walls or tucked inside library books. This gives him a rush of adrenaline and gives him the feeling that he his letting go of the weight on his shoulders. He also tends to feel better when other makoatls show that they care about him, although his lifestyle as a lighthouse keeper is very solitary so he only gets socialization when he makes occasional trips into town. He tries to be proactive about making himself feel happier, but it isn't always that simple. One day he dreams of finding a companion to make his life less lonely. He is an interesting makoatl in that he is part leopard shark and has mismatched horns.

Relationships
➥ Penelope - Penelope's home is actually just a short swim away from Fog's lighthouse. He is even more reclusive than she is, but the two occasionally enjoy each other's company. When he makes his trips into town for supplies, he will sit with her on her porch if the weather isn't too hot. She is actually one of the few makoatls that Fog would ever truly call a friend, since she is one of the few makoatls that he sees with any regularity.
