A headstrong, passionate kid with a strong sense of justice. Consistently staged breakouts at the orphanage so he could run amuck and do "hero work" which more often than not got him in trouble. His misadventures wound up getting him in a situation with local poachers, and saved by a mysterious coyote man. After being taken under his(begrudging) wing, Yamauchi is officially enrolled to UA, where his energy can have a more proper focus.
