Tsunami

-Tsunami is Charlotte's roommate who Charlotte was sent to live with. Tsunami is an aloof girl who would prefer to keep to herself most of the time, and prefers to work alone. As a result, having Charlotte, a clueless inkling who claims to be a human suddenly live with her proves to soon get on her nerves very fast. Tsunami doesn't believe Charlotte's story, and thinks she just has several screws loose. But as ridiculous as the idea is, it fits perfectly with why Charlotte seems to know absolutely nothing about even the most basic facts of her own species at age 23. Tsu realizes maybe this girl isn't crazy after all...

-Tsunami bonds with Charlotte over small things after she warms up to her. She'd teach her how to play tableturf and other games, as it was a good game for Charlotte who couldn't read inkling or octarian alphabet.

Grew up in the Octarian domes as one of four siblings and was a part of the Octarian military, however she was fairly low-ranking, only really working in weapons tech and repairs. Left just because she wanted to do more with her life than sit underground. She worked numerous odd jobs on the surface afterwards until she could afford her own living space. Having heard rumors of there being Octarian clans in the Splatlands, she moved there in hopes to find more like her. As the Splatlands became more of a hot spot for people looking to start new lives, rent in her small apartment began to increase, causing her to apply for a roommate to be able to afford living there more easily. This is how she met Charlotte.

-She related to Charlotte in some small aspects, which helped them grow closer. Charlotte's inability to read reminded Tsunami of when she herself didn't speak inkling and had to navigate via visual cues. Tsunami had to be with Charlotte almost all the time to prevent her from getting lost or doing something stupid, so they'd end up sharing things about each other just on impulse.

Tsunami is part blue-ringed octopus, the blue rings in her hair are always visible no matter the ink color. She is also similarly highly venomous, and although her venom isn't as deadly as her mother's, it is still able to cause dizzyness and difficulty breathing.

-Because she can't hold her E-Liter and her cane at the same time, Tsunami uses a sports wheelchair in turf war battles.
