Summary

Mother of Masozi and former Matriarch of her clan. Despite Jangwa coming across as someone who hated being matriarch, she took her role of it very seriously. She tried to shape up Masozi to be the same overly serious hyena she was raised to be but didn't exactly work out- however she still had faith that Masozi would lead the clan well, especially if it wasn't her problem to deal with anymore. She died of old age before Sahara was born.

Appearance

Jangwa was a female Spotted hyena with brown shaggy fur, with a darker brown underbelly, ears and tail. She had dark brown spots on her face resembling freckles, and small round ears. She had a grey fur on her eyebrows, and nose due to age. Her eyes were yellow.
