"Lovers in The City of Freedom" (a sweet and spicy variation of Sticky Honey Roast)
Profile
Descendant of the former slave turned "Lionfang Knight" Vanessa, Zephyr grew up with an intense love of freedom, and the desire to protect it at all costs. He's spent the majority of his life thus far working for the Knights of Favonius in Mondstadt, where despite being a bit unmotivated, his kindness to the people of all rank, and his skill in combat led many to the assumption that he would eventually rise to the position of Grand Master. However, with no desire to be tied down, Zephyr eventually made the painful decision to leave the Knights in order to travel Teyvat, eventually settling in with The Crux.
Traveling with the crew of The Alcor has been the ultimate joy of his life so far, for what is more symbolic of freedom than sailing the endless ocean?
Zephyr is honest, compassionate, and playful. He is extremely empathetic to the feelings of those around him, and finds contentment in the simple joy's of life, romance, a full stomach, a good drink, a fine adventure, and a fierce battle are all he needs.
The Fatui attack on Liyue Harbor sparked an intense hatred for the 11th Harbinger Ajax, though despite their best efforts neither can manage to kill the other due to being completely equal in skill and power. They have the same hunger for battle, and perhaps if things were different could have been amazing friends.
The Raiden Shogun's tyranny over Inuzuma is something he's unable to ignore, The Vision Hunt Decree and The Sakoku Decree being the ultimate injustices to the freedom of the Inuzuman people. His blood boils when thinking about it, and while admitting that a direct confrontation would surely end in his death he can't help but think of his ancestor and her words as he joins the resistance with Beidou and her crew.
"We must fight and claim our own freedom. We can not beg for it. We must not kneel for it. Freedom given freely is only a guise for another shackle."
