Asmodeus, originally from another reality, belonged to a family of powerful, god-like beings. Unaware of his latent ability to absorb their powers, he grew up insecure and envious, masking his perceived inadequacy by boasting about his family’s fame. Tragedy struck when a stronger god orchestrated a hunt against his family, driven by jealousy or greed.

As Asmodeus began gaining new abilities, he was thrilled until he realized they mirrored those of his missing family members, confirming his worst fears about their fate. Desperate to survive, he tore a hole in reality and escaped into a void, depleting most of his stolen power. The void’s essence imbued him with a starry, dark appearance.

Eventually, he fell into a world of dragons and transformed himself into a dragon-like being to blend in, though his form remained imperfect. However, his escape came at a cost: a lingering curse that would doom his descendants to premature, unnatural deaths. A detail he did not discover until his future wife and adult children passed.

Terrified of being discovered, Asmodeus swore off using his powers, fearing it would draw attention from his enemies. Yet, he remains determined to find a way to break the curse and protect his lineage, even if it means navigating the challenges of his new draconic world.
