Assigned to the same five year mission together, Ghost as the ship's captain, and Creature as the head of the ship's medical wing.

Before their relationship: Ever since meeting, Ghost has always had

During their relationship:

Creature has never been a creature of habit. He's tried most anything, willing to take itself far from the planned, plotted and controlled life it was promised. However, it hadn't given much thought to a romantic relationship, nor felt anything more than platonic emotion for another person.

He took a special interest in Tao. The 'straight man' to it's more laid back, eccentrick ways of being. He was good company to have. Great company. When they started getting closer, when want for company turned into need for Tao's company-- Creature was willing to ride this out, see what it turned into. No rush or worry for how Tao felt. It was well aware humans were a short lived species.

When they became a formal thing, Creature was hit with some conflicting emotions, enough to rattle the 'I could care less' persona. It was deeply worried for these new emotions, how to exactly be in a relationship and how best to care for Tao. The first few months were rocky for Creature-- but, thankfully, with some much needed advice from others at their station- it has grown to once again relax into this new blossiming relationship.
