After a certain accident, their body ended up being unrecognizable. They  suffered a memory loss and because of the damage their body took,  doctors weren't able to identify them. A secret agency [Dr. Quackin' Skulls]  took them in and  saved their life by creating a robotic body for them.

Because of their memory loss, they started building their new identity.  They have a great interest in machines and science. They are working on  building a time machine to go back to the time before the accident, to  find out who they used to be and to reconnect with the people they used  to know.
