- prince of a large, yet largely undefended, kingdom named laris. it has a tentative alliance forming with a smaller but more powerful kingdom, staria. laris is mostly surrounded by water but connects to a larger continent via a small strip of land.

- azazel has two older siblings and a younger sister. their older siblings, cephur (he/him) and cylix (they/them) are twins and 28, while their younger sister, epora (she/her), is 18.

- he’s generally the diplomat of his family, currently he’s sent to staria to secure laris’ alliance with staria. he mostly deals with the starian prince, ravana starin, who- frustratingly to azazel- has charmed the man into developing a small crush. it’s fine, though, surely it can’t be that hard to stay professional. [it is, actually!]

- generally azazel doesn’t get much attention in comparison with his older siblings or younger sister, truly being a middle child, but they claim not to mind much.

- overall he has a very strong moral code and he doesn’t let himself be pushed around about it. however, he does struggle to say no to other things and will often find himself stuck doing things that he doesn’t really want to because he just didn’t know how to decline others’ harmless requests.

- generally a pretty gender non-conforming dude. they’re cis but push boundaries of gender roles pretty often. it’s not uncommon for their formal wear to be a dress or include a skirt/other more “feminine” pieces. usually they’re wearing a corset at least. they’re very comfortable in their masculinity and won’t take shit for being themself.
