- Mani being a few thousand years old isn't quite accurate, as every few years they "hibernate" for a while
-the hibernation includes them dying and their body decomposing before they are reborn later on, like a phoenix but it takes a long time instead of instantaneously. The hibernation can take between a few months up to a few years, they can awake whenever they wish
- while hibernating, they are still alive, seeing through mushrooms in the forest through mycelium, being everywhere at once, during the hibernation it is near impossible for anything to sneak into the woods unseen

- while awake, Mani is a goblin

- you get lost in the woods they'd lead you back out and no one would ever believe you
