personality ;
porter is confident, intimidating, and charming enough to stay a high ranking suit in COGS. she runs the company's vacation spots, golf course construction, and counts days off for employees. she is also a “therapist” (due to the double entendre name of “baggage handler”) for COGS, so she is more of a worrywart and klutz than she lets on. porter is genuine to those upset or depressed in her presence, and provides means to make them happy; though, as she's a cog, she treats it more as "here's how i can help you so you can get back to work in tip top shape!! :)"
while there are certain cogs she respects during these therapy sessions, porter treats a lot of the rest as busy work and escorts them out feeling just the same as they did before with an annoyed smile.
in fact, due to her constant wide smile, porter's concern for her hotel patrons sounds more blunt and intense. the miscommunication and possible lead to her being feared doesn't bother her at all - it gives her a power trip! if pushed to her limits, she can be passive aggressive if crossed with a short tolerance, making you leave the premises instantly. she's VERY trigger happy with her bans.
as a cog, porter hates toons. she sees them as pests that invade her establishment and will do whatever is necessary to exterminate them and their annoying gags!

<3 count erclaim : depending on the story, vladimir and porter are either dating or crushing on each other hard. count “haunts” her hotel while he’s fired from COGS; meaning he takes the chup from the kitchen, sleeps like a bat in empty suites, and scares employees whenever they turn on the lights and see him there. porter likes his rhymes and thinks he's like a cute poet, as well as pathetic. she likes that in a man.
featherbedder : tawney is the resident bed tester for her hotels. she even pays her on the side for this, to which tawney started to decline payment since ‘[tawney] already gets paid while [she] sleeps at work’. this aside, they discuss business projections for both COGS and her hotels in general.
bellringer : an old friend of hers from prior work, she's glad benjamin got a great position at COGS before she did. she would say she's jealous he got her desired department, but being a bossbot isn't too shabby on the hierarchy. also, porter's a sucker for gossip as much as he is.
chainsaw consultant : she looks out for chip the most as he’s the highest bossbot manager. she tends to pull him aside and offer him pep talks and discounted suites at her hotel if needed, though he usually turns them down in favor of rawdogging his emotions to which porter gets concerned about.
rainmaker : a regular therapy session patient, porter latched onto comforting her whenever they cross paths. while she doesn’t approve and even scolds misty sometimes for their ways of getting close to the toons and derrick man, she makes an effort to ‘accidentally’ refuse booking of certain cogs that make misty upset.
major player and firestarter : these two are her one-sided enemies. porter used to be neutral on dave (in fact she loves his music!), until one time he performed at the cutting suite floor and woke up every single resident not in attendance, not to mention they haven’t stopped getting an influx of cereal mailed to his suite he stayed in even weeks post this event - meanwhile, porter frequently ran out of fire extinguisher whenever flint booked a room with graham.
regular employees : she's fond of bossbots and sellbots; specifically flunkies, head hunters, and big cheeses for bossbots - minglers, name droppers, and mover & shakers for sellbots.
prior work ;
- worked as a (well.) porter for many places, being moved around due to traveling. these places were namely airports, the most prominent being the no hostel attitude intercontinental airport for the longest time of 4 years.
- would work at a hotel as a bellgirl, then hotel manager. she actually worked with bellringer for a short while at the golden rose resort for 7 years.

trivia ;
- was going to be a sellbot, but due to her interview, jennifer believed she would look better in brown.
- has a vocal tic and occasionally repeats the last word of a sentence. was a hiccup in making her voice box, basically a cog version of tourette syndrome so she's fine.
- she has 3 workers called "the bellhop boys", a mr. hollywood named moe, a yesman named larry, and a glad hander named curtis. they're all on this TH page and yes they're all just a three stooges reference.
