Malcom has trouble focusing on work and often doodles, plays games, or sleeps instead of doing work during designated times.

He didn’t really know anyone at __ university until Helios roped him into some semi legal (train hopping) shenanigans. Most of their adventures still come to be in this sort of way. Really connected with/found the rest of the gang through Helios, despite having interacted with them on campus. 

Malcom owns two rats, originally belonging to his sister.
