MAIN INSPIRATION   

Song of the same title by Len and Rin Kagamine. The song is about these twins who were born into royalty, one who was the girl was made to be the queen while the boy was made to be her servant. Throughout the song the servant does what he can to make sure the queen is happy and does his best to warn her to not be a cruel ruler or else the citizens may rebel. The citizens accept this cruel ruling until the queen secretly sent her servant to kill a neighboring cute town girl and her city (played by Hatsune Miku) because the  Queen's crush (played by Kaito) loved the town girl and not her. The rebellion is led by a red solider (played by Meiko). Near the climax the servant cuts his hair, wears the queens clothes and tells her that they will switch places that way the queen can escape safely while the servant stays to face the crowd. The song ends with the servant dying in front of a crowd of the kingdom with the ex queen watching in horror. The other chapters of the story such as Daughter of Evil andRegret Messageare also canon in this storyline.

STORY   

You can read the whole story by Giselle's point of view in the story right here in Toyhouse! Most things are similar to the song. The few differences are

1) A tainted cake killed the Tallests (both red and purple) which pushed Zim to murder the beloved town baker. Unlike the song where a guy who Rin loved, loved someone else is what ticked her off. 

2) Len is a boy and Rin is a girl while Giselle who is taking Len's place is a girl while Zim is a boy. Most roles were filled by someone of an opposite gender to make sense 

CHARACTER AND THEIR ROLES   

Giselle  - Servant/maid to Emperor Zim. Takes the role on Len Kagamine in the song. In love with Zim and does everything in her power to take care of him, switches places with him when the citizens come to dethrone and execute him. Dies when they execute "Zim".

Zim  - The emperor of the world, treats the human race like shit and gets on  the nerves of all that serve him, even his own kind. Takes the role of  Rin Kagamine in the song. He sends Giselle to kill a well loved baker that the towns people love which results in EVERYONE (even Irkens) turning on him.

Sow Palony (This oc belongs to Lady  Xenochen) - Is the son of the well renowned Palony bakery. He takes the role of Hatsune Miku. He and his family was beloved by all the citizens of the kingdom. When his family died after a cake they made for the tallest got poisoned, the towns people rioted.

Dib - Is a rebel who has been trying for years to take down the emperor. He takes the role of Meiko. He notices the town all riled up after the death of the Palony family and uses this as an opportunity to bring them all together to take down the emperor. Dib was the one to dragged "Zim" out of his room to the crowd of on lookers to behead him.

CHARACTER DESIGN AND APPEARANCE   

I'll be including everyone but Sow since I do not own him. When Xenochen designs him I will add it to this wiki

Giselle 

Skin color - Light beige

Hair color - Carob brown 

Hair style - Long waist height 2b, wavey 

Eye color - Hazel eyes

Outfit - Black turtle neck buttoned dress, white apron, gray shorts, and black flat shoes

Zim

Skin color - Lime

Antennae style - Angled

Eye color - Ruby red

Outfit - Peal and gold beaded crown with red ruby in the center, purple poncho like robes, light pink long sleeves, black pants, black gloves, purple boots

Dib

Skin color - Slightly tanned

Hair color - Raven black

Hair style - Straight short hair with a hair scythe

Eye color - Light brown

Outfit - Dark blue suit of armor encrusted with symbols of the swollen eyeball (I haven't actually designed/drawn him so you're free to draw/interpret him how ever you like)

FUN FACTS   

• I've always loved this song and wanted to make it. I just never had a good set of twins that looked identical or loved each other enough to sacrifice themselves. Zim was already written to be a emperor in issue 12 so I thought, "What if Giselle was the servant that scarified herself for him". Thus, this AU was born
• The writing in the story was heavily inspired by the writing of my favorite book ever named Here Lies Daniel Tate, which I highly recommend. I would read that book a million times, I fucking love it. If you are into thriller and mystery I recommend it
