Summary
Hirsch is a lone wolf turned family man. He originally lived deep within the woods, keeping to himself, and only emerging to retrieve supplies from the small town before disappearing again for months at a time. He would turn down any kind of relationship, and was very standoff-ish. That was until recently, when he ran into Daovia one day and was smitten with her. Nowadays he resides closer to the town and has made a handful of friends who he trusts with his life. He still hunts for food, however now he brings it to the town and sells most of what he hunts for a bit of extra money.
At one stage, as he was trekking through the woods, he came across a small figure, a runaway fuchsiablood boy, and took him into his care to fix him up and hopefully understand what happened to him. The boy, Zahhri, originally despised anyone who came near him, but slowly warmed up to Hirsch and now lives with him in his semi-secluded hut on the edge of the woods.

Trivia
- Despite being large in size and intimidating in looks, Hirsch is actually a very timid person. He tries to come across as just antisocial but deep down he feels terrified in large groups of people.
- He's an excellent shot when it comes to hunting, and can always hit the animal in a way that won't damage its pelt so he can sell it for a good price later.
- One talent he despises people knowing about is his ability to write moving poetry. The only person who knows about this is Daovia, and even then, it took him years to finally write her a poem and reveal the soft side of him.
- He can be incredibly standoff-ish to anyone he doesn't consider a close friend. The only people he doesn't become antsy around are Daovia, Djenah, Epsilo, and, somehow, Mejara. It was a long time before he even talked to any of the others besides Daovia, and he only really opened up to them because they were her friends and he knew she trusted them.
- He may look quite soft body-wise, but he's ridiculously strong. He can easily lift almost twice his own body weight. In having this level of strength, he loves showing off for Daovia, and will often literally sweep her off her feet and carry her around bridal style just because he can.
Appearance
Hirsch is 6'4" tall and very broad. He has well toned muscles in his arms and legs, but is rather soft around the middle, giving him a 'dad body'. His hair is long and thick, and is often pulled back into a low ponytail whenever he is hunting or out in public. His skin is dark in colouration, and covered in bruises and callouses from his trips to the woods.
He has a large nose and a rather heavy brow. He also has two small tusks poking up from his bottom jaw which are quite blunt. His beard is well kept and groomed, though often times he'll have small leaves or sticks stuck in it after he's come back from a hunt that he hasn't noticed.
He mainly wears heavy jackets and jeans, with the occasional flannel shirt here and there. Besides that, he owns a few nice button up shirts and regular t-shirts for when Daovia insists they go on dates. He also wears gloves on his hunting trips to help him keep his grip on his rifle, as it's quite overpowered.

Relationships
 Daovia [Wife]
Daovia was the first person Hirsch ever opened up to. He met her one day while haunting the local markets, and hit up a conversation with her, albiet a rather crude one, while waiting behind her in line for something. She laughed at his eagerness to get to know her, despite his ungraceful words, and told him to meet her there again another time. After getting to kow each other better, Hirsch finally let himself develop real feelings for her, even though his instincts told him not to get attached. After a few years of dating, Daovia finally took charge of the relationship and proposed to him, to his surprise. The two have been basically inseperable ever since, and he cherishes her to bits.

 Epsilo [Friend/Old crush]
Considering Hirsch is extremely guarded and antisocial, it's almost comical how easily he formed a crush on Epsilo. At first it was purely based on his looks, but as he eventually talked more to him, he realised Epsilo had a pure heart and a good sense of humour. The two, being the only men in their small group of friends, tend to spend a lot of time together when the ladies insist on hanging out. Since Hirsch is already happily married to Daovia, he's content having Epsilo as just a friend.

 Djenah [Friend]
Djenah and Hirsch aren't really close, but he does have a respect for her, as he bought healing items from her when he was looking after an ill Zahhri. He finds her easy to get along with, and very knowledgeable on things like plant medicine and the correct uses for the bones and such from his hunting trips to the woods. He tries to be chivalrous to her at all times, no matter how grumpy he may be.
