A rebel in Praque, Wolfe is determined to stop at nothing to bring down the government. He used to be fairly reasonable -- he wanted to make the world better, not to destroy it -- but time and the horrors he has seen have made his mind darker and angrier. He no longer sees a way for Iyzmiska to change for the better: it must be destroyed, at any cost. Those close to him have seen his decline -- many members of the group he leads have left, unable to stomach the horrors Wolfe is willing to inflict on the world. They have seen him grow quiet and withdrawn, obsessed only with hurting the government. Nobody has been able to pull him out of it yet.
