Background(short): 

He and Delphi were in the same clutch, it was just the two of them. Delphi hatched in the moonlight, he did not. He found out his parents basically signed his sister away to a circus because they were promised a part of whatever money she earned. He left them when he was 7 and he’s been looking for her ever since. The circus is shockingly hard to track.
