There's not much to say about Roe's past, really he can't say anything about it!
Roe has no memory of his past before waking up in a clearing with an empty bag and a fancy set of clothes. He managed to find a village and trade the fancy clothes for a cheaper pair, some supplies and enough coins to afford staying in the inn for the night. In the morning he realized his best bet would probably be getting an instrument and using it to get more coins so he won't be forced to sleep outside.
Now, Roe travels from village to village trying to see if there's anyone who's looking for him. With how fancy the clothes he traded looked, there had to be someone looking for him, right? So far he's been unsuccessful but he's trying hard not to let it get to him.

- Wraps his tail around his leg as a nervous tic. Is drawn doing this a LOT.
- Should rarely be drawn smiling (Unless around his fiance!)
- Blue markings glow when playing lute or singing.

Because the entirety of his life is a mystery to him, Roe is quite timid and often won't be found in large crowds if he's not performing. And if you manage to catch a performance, good luck finding him afterwards. For someone so reclusive, Roe craves companionship like you wouldn't believe. The only thing that seems to be stopping him is his fear or messing up around others.
He only ever really comes out of his shell during his performances, as he's more focused on his lute than the growing crows around him, and you can see that he genuinely enjoys playing.
