Ren Hartley

Visual description: Ren has pinkish red hair that she most often styles in twin buns, but also styles it in braids or a ponytail. She has  fluffy bangs and two pieces of hair that frame the sides of her face. She's pale, with big brown eyes. She wears comfortable clothing, gravitating towards t-shirts, jeans, shorts, and sneakers. Her nails are often painted black but sometimes she wears other colors or no polish at all.

Ren is the leader of the Ghost Club at her highschool. She's always loved the paranormal/occult world and gets very  invested in stories about such things. She is a big daydreamer, especially about video games and anime, and runs her imagination best while listening to music through headphones in the car. Overall she is  energetic and loud but very kindhearted, and never judgemental of others. She tends to slack on schoolwork. Ren is sometimes picked on by a few other kids at school, and she often retaliates verbally, getting herself in trouble - she's no stranger to detention.

She lives with her mother and her older cousin Casey, who is like a brother to her. Since her childhood she knew about gender and the possibility of being trans, because Casey came out when he was in middle school, and Ren's mom was accepting and supportive of both of them. Ren is on blockers, but will not be on HRT until she is 18.
