BACKSTORY:

A 'mad' scientist whose beloved wife died over twenty years ago in an accident, causing him to isolate himself from the world.

He lives in a large cave/tunnel network that the average person would probably get lost in. Here, he practises strange and dangerous experiments, never going outside unless strictly necessary. He is somewhat of an inventor, often creating odd devices and mechanisms from spare parts.

PERSONALITY:

Negative: Antisocial / Rude / Short-tempered / Arrogant / Judgemental

An antisocial and eccentric man. He is very judgemental and displays contempt towards anyone he considers less intelligent than himself, avoiding people like the plague until he absolutely needs to interact. Few know anything significant about his past. The death of his wife left him in a state of unresolved grief that he has no idea how to deal with. He's bitter and sad, but sneers at the idea of going to someone for help.

He is a severe workaholic and fails to take proper care of himself as a result, often staying awake until he collapses from sheer exhaustion, as well as rarely eating or washing. In the past, his wife reminded him to do those things, but now she's gone, he just doesn't bother. Pazzia's softer side only showed up in the presence of his wife. With her, he was loyal, gentle and willing to listen, and she never doubted that he loved her.

DESIGN:

Pazzia is an eastern-style dragon with a long thin body, blue scales and dark blue eyes. He has angular horns and a scruffy silver mane.

His eyes are usually shadowed from lack of sleep, and he's very underweight. He has no wings and can't fly.

TRIVIA:

- Has quite a large vocabulary and likes to use long, complex words unnecessarily.

- Hates kids. Despite this, he and his wife briefly considered having a child together. Pazzia was more open to the idea at the time, but his wife decided against it because she knew he would resent the child's presence.

- Poor vision; is legally blind in his left eye and shortsighted in his right.

- When he and his wife got married, he took her last name in order to distance himself from his family.
