Casey Joaquin Rivera

Visual description: Casey is a young man with stark-white hair in a short choppy style, with asymmetrical bangs that partially cover one eye. He has a medium-tone complexion that is somewhat dull, and he has dark circles under his eyes. His eyebrows are notably short and sparse. He has silver snakebite piercings on his lower lip and his ears are pierced as well. He frequently wears beanie hats with various patterns. His wardrobe is mostly neutral colors, black and white, or green, preferring pullover hoodies, graphic tees, jeans, cargo pants, and sneakers.

Casey is a college student and Ren's older cousin who's more like a brother. He can be a bit cold and distant, especially with people he doesnt know well, and he tends to be very tempermental... But he cares deeply about his people, despite what he would have you believe. He has a habit of spacing out frequently.

Casey also runs TTRPG campaigns with his college friends. He keeps a notebook full of all sorts of scribbles - drawings of bugs and monsters and such, ideas for campaigns, reminders, and more.

Casey's mother is Peruvian, and she met his father while he was travelling one summer - it wasn't until he left that she knew she would be having a child. It was difficult for her to take care of herself as well as Casey during his infancy. She travelled to Canada in search of Casey's father. When they got in contact again, he wasn't ready to be a father but agreed to support them financially at least. As a teenager, Casey and his mom had a tense relationship. She didn't know what to do about his mental health struggles or how to support him transitioning. He moved out when he was 19, but at 21 a crisis landed him in psychiatric care for a while, and when he was released, Ren's mother insisted that he move in so as not to be all alone. He reluctantly accepted, but declined the spare bedroom for some reason, instead opting to convert the garage into his space, and they now use the bedroom as extra storage. He keeps in contact with his mother and they still care for each other, just wishing things could have been different.
