Fei is a former human, cursed into a monstrous chimeric form. He can be mistaken for a dragon due to his scales and length, but on closer inspection, his features more closely resemble a rat and hyena blended unevenly.
He slighted an enchantress in the past, and spent years as a mindless beast roaming the countryside and avoiding humans. After being forcefully adopted as a pet by a magic student named Hideki, his consciousness begins to return, and he suddenly began speaking understandable human words.
Fei is mischievous and impulsive, and he eats barrels upon barrels of fish without blinking an eye. He's definitely spoiled, but since he isn't allowed to go outside as the monstrous creature he is, he copes by being demanding. Despite this, he holds conversation very well and loves entertaining people. When Fei learns to return to human form, he gets a job at a flower shop and generally is a much healthier, friendlier person than he ever has been. He eventually learns to shape shift between his two forms.
