Appearance
Rosemary is a rather small and delicate looking she-cat even by normal standards due in turn to her sickly constitution. She has a solid soft lilac pelt with darker striped patches around the left side of her face and on her back and front legs. Her fur is curly which is especially prominent around her fringe/ear tuffs and cheek fur. In contrast to her pale pelt colours, Rosemary has big doe-eyes which are a pretty shade of pink- The colour of those that have inherited Fae-blood in Coralclan.
Goal/Wish/Dream
Even since she heard her older sister was set to become leader one day, Rosemary secretly wished that she'd choose her to be her deputy. She's not really interested in the position itself but just wants to be acknowledge by her older sister.
Personality
Free-spirited, Out-spoken, Determined, SupportiveRosemary is often mistaken for a soft-spoken, mellow kitten due to her sickly constitution but that couldn’t be even further from the truth. Rather she is a very free-spirited and out-spoken individual with a bright mind who has no qualms telling you exactly what she thinks. If there is fun to be had, you can be sure Rosemary will be in the thick of it and is quite happy marching to the beat of her own drum. She hates nothing more than being left out and with her strong determination there is little that can stop her, other than her own poor health. In this respect Rosemary will likely be the most supportive friend you’ll ever meet. There is seldom anything she wouldn’t believe you could do.
Emotional, Insecure, Reckless, Mischievous
For better or for worse, she is normally quite honest with most of her emotions which often leads her to getting emotional easily when she gets fed up with her body or others telling her she can’t do things. Part of her wonders if this is her penance for being the only survivor out of her siblings… She’s not dumb either and has observed the way others regard her parents with disapproving looks which has resulted in a deep-rooted insecurity that they might leave her as she holds guilt that it’s her fault, they are viewed this way. Due to this insecurity, she often acts needy and seeks attention from her loved ones to reassure herself. Rosemary hates nothing more than being babied, she thinks that means no one trusts her capabilities and in her frustrations Rosemary can often push herself too hard and act rather reckless. She also has a mischievous streak and is not beneath using her health in order to get herself out of trouble.
Kithood 1-6 Moons
Rosemary was born in an especially turbulent period; strange things had been happening around the territories which had led to Moorclan taking shelter in Coralclan after a wolf attack. There were frequent earthquakes and the birds had all strangely left Coral’s territory. Just as the three clans had come together for their month gathering, disaster struck when another earthquake happened- However this time it was far more catastrophic than anyone could have anticipated. Knowing what this meant Starlingstream as the waves quickly began to recede, she urged all the cats to get too high-ground immediately. Heading back to camp with her sister Crowfang, the pair evacuate everyone who is left but it’s then that she suddenly goes into pre-mature labour. With the waves quickly coming, they are forced to take shelter in Coralclan’s shrine. Where it appears that with Mara’s blessing, they are protected.
'In her first moments of consciousness, fear racks her body as all four senses are immediately overloaded. Waves thrash against the walls of the shrine and the wind whistled through created a ghastly noise. Strange smells and a salty taste creep into her mouth. Her heartbeat fluctuates as a warmth encompasses her and she not knowing anything just wants everything to stop. And as if her wishes had been heard- There was a sudden peace, the surrounding sounds seemed to ebb away and she can hear the rhythmic beating of something nearby. A soft touch, a weak voice.
And then she's on fire- Her insides are on fire. A violet cough racked her tiny body, the slight rusty tang entering her mouth, but she is trapped unable to form the words or even the sound to scream or cry for help. Instead, she is helplessly trapped with the prison of her own body as her breathing grows weak.'
It becomes quickly apparently not all is well as after a rough birth, Rosemary is the only survivor out of her two other siblings and even then, she appears to be barely hanging on as it is. Not making any sound or moving, there is only a moment of relief when she finally feeds on some milk a few hours later after seeming to respond to her mothers humming. It takes two days for the flooding to recede enough that the pair can re-join the others at Skies Reach and for the first month Rosemary doesn’t open her eyes at all. It isn’t hard to guess who Rosemary’s other parent is, with both Starling and Orchid fussing over and her features which clearly resembled the Ridgeclan leader.
After RP Starts

It had been another day; Rosemary had been dozing off when she heard raised voices from nearby. Annoyed that her nap had been disturbed, she slowly heaved herself up and ambled over in time to see what appeared to be Crabkit and Poolkit picking on Chickadeekit.
This did not please her one bit; she didn’t know any of them that well but that didn’t mean she was going to let this slide. Her precious nap was disturbed for this??? And that was exactly what lead her to swooping in and proceeding to knock Crabkit right on his butt, her push wasn’t really that strong but she had caught him off guard.
“Wooow~ Do you really have nothing better to do than pick on others? How lame.” She regarded the pair with a cold stare as she looked down at them through her long lashes rather unbecoming of her soft and cute features.
”HUH?! WHAT DID YOU SA-“
”What’s all this commotion about?” A older voice quickly sounded out hearing the yelling breaking up the mess and while everyone's attention was quickly focused away Rosemary didn’t miss her chance.
”Oh dear! Rosemarykit! What’s wrong?!” And three pairs of questioning eyes quickly turned to confusion as the very kit who had been boldly standing before them just a moment before was now crumpled on the ground.
In an award winning performance Rosemary feebly lifted her paw and even added into a couple of coughs for extra measure as she spoke in a pitiful voice, ”I-I t’was just- cough cough coming to see what t’was happening….” She bought her paw up to her chest as if she was having trouble breathing, ”An- And Crab and Poolkit were being mean to Chika- Chika- cough cough deekit..“ Truly Chickadeekit’s name was a bit hard for her to pronounce but that kind of helped in this case, ”It t’was so scary…” Technically nothing Rosemary said was a lie- Well apart from being scared of course.
Crabkit and Poolkit gave her the most incredulous looks as Fleetshore sternly turned their way, ”Is this true?” Unable to deny it the pair tried to protest instead, ”Yeah but Rosemar-“
”I don’t want to hear it! Both of you are grounded, you hear me?” Crabkit and Poolkit instantly slunk down as they were scolded, ”I’ll deal with you two when I get back.” And with that she had scooped Rosemary by the scruff- Likely to bring her to a medicine cat for a check-up and wrapped her tail around Chickadeekit to motion her follow to follow as well. Before they turned out of view Rosemary stuck her tongue out at the pair.
