Eira

Eira was born to a powerful kingdom, and raised with a strict schedule. Her childhood was sheltered, and she was raised to be the perfect princess. Despite this, she was also taught how to be the perfect bargaining chip -- she was taught how to change her outward personality, how to blend in and match any suitor that her parents brought to her. She was definitely loved, but she was seen more as a valuable asset than a daughter.

She was told to seduce a knight of the neighboring kingdom -- of who hers was currently at war with -- so that she could use him as a spy. She did so without question, mentally promising herself that she would make sure the knight she chose would not be killed to try to ease any guilt she felt.

Unfortunately for her, she ended up truly falling in love with the knight. She told no one, and even in her diary spoke of it only in code. In her dreams, she was allowed to live happily with him. Yet, when she awoke, it would often be accompanied by the bitter taste of salty tears, knowing that she would never be allowed such a luxury.

She had been killed in her sleep by a swordsman, who was quick and merciless. She is thankful that she didn't have to suffer, but deeply saddened that she was killed in such a brutal way, especially with so much unfinished buisness.
