SYNTHESIS STRIDER, also called Synth, is a wandererer from Southern Nevada in the US, shortly described as a bundle of nerves for its habits. It's a graffiti artist with a huge appreciation for the definitely 1999 game Jet Set Radio and the best and worst rollerskating you've ever seen. It plays electric bass and sometimes acoustic and electric guitar.

CHILDHOOD
Synthesis grew up in Vacancy, a walled-off and controlled town connected to Las Vegas. It was mostly raised by its mother, Mara, as its other two parents, Marilyn and Bifrost, were off raising money in other states in music performances. It spent every second out of school playing on an Xbox or trying to use the internet on a crappy internet connection.
OUTSIDE THE WALL
After being found by Genesis in their late teens, the two travelled with her caravan for many months before having to split from them and wandering mostly alone together for years. Surviving while travelling is difficult, making them run into a lot of trouble, and causing trouble themselves. The only good thing the pair aren't infamous for are a few shows they did - their musical talent is beloved regardless.
SEPARATION
Synthesis and Genesis had to separate to survive - leaving Synth on its own for many cold months, fending against the world until it ends up at Portland to compete for a place to call home.

Cursed to leave fire in his wake, Synthesis is paranoid of keeping friends and especially leaving them behind. A bounty hunter(..?) by the name of Flood Driver has been its personal enemy for years, chasing it across the states trying to put an end to "his" arson.

Loves Genesis dearly. She knows how to comfort him well when he's panicking and it has been the sole reason he's been able to get by. It made him who he is today.

Misses them. They took the most attention to xyr emotional needs and are why xe's an artist.

Synth's parent he's most familiar with. Misses her cooking.
