Rosel is fairly shy at first, but once she gets to know someone, she is a sweet woman who will do anything for those who show kindness and empathy towards her. Despite her appearance she packs quite the punch, and will not hesitate to defend herself when necessary. She is a gardener, and prefers to spend her time tending to her garden rather than socializing. Her favorite plants to grow are any kind of berry bushes, and ironically, she hates roses.
She is descended from Boisbeni who went into hiding during the reign of King Mal and never wanted to return. It was drilled into her from a young age that hiding was safe and to be found was dangerous, possibly even deadly. This is part of the reason she has not met her hero, and is frankly a little afraid of finding them. Children, however, are excluded from this rule, as in her mind, children are just curious and have no ill intent towards her other than pulling her hair and tail.
She would not eat a poisonous plant if dared to. If it was someone she's close to, however, she will dare them to stick their hand into poison ivy and laugh at them before patching them up.
