Kithood 0-6:moonkit was born alongside sunkit and cloudkit, to parents darklingchasm and lightgleam. moonkit was fascinated with the coming and goings of the medicine cat (blackberrywhistle/spiderdance?), but denied any interest in the job, despite clear interest in it. when not spending time with its siblings, it could be found peeking around at the various stored herbs and berries.

Apprentice 6-12:Still denying any interest in the rank of medicine cat, moonpaw chooses to become a lifeguard when the siblings are of age. It has some trouble in its lessons as it rarely participated n battle lessons, often doing the bare minimum allowed. Moonpaw argued it had no interest in harming other cats, and some rumours of it being too soft to even hunt prey spread. moonpaw ignores them, though the jokes irritate it a great deal.

Adulthood 12-42 moons: though there was potential for graduation to be delayed due to battle training delay, moondance was granted the rank of lifeguard. it takes the role seriously, refusing to fool around on duty or be late. a near-drowning experience just a moon after graduation is kept secret, and moondance develops a fear of deep water, despite its job. the fear is buried deep, and any agitation is attributed to its usually crabby personality.

Adulthood 42-Current: Between the fights that have sprung up between the two clans, the way the devastating storm was handled, and then the crushing loss of its sibling, Moondance has found itself angry at Palmettoclan, and distant from its clanmates. Finally, Moodance feels it can't take it anymore, and decides to leave Palmettoclan to try and join Mangroveclan. It has no idea if anything will actually change, but it has to try at least.
