Plushie name : Guac (guacamole)

Human name: Simon "Guac" [Lastname]

Birthday: April 17

Age 34 - Homoromantic (Gay) - 6'1'' - Autistic

He/Him - Cismale

Sibling: [Avo]

Husband: [TO BE DETERMINED]

Children: [Mazia], [Dominic], and [Leilani]

Alter: [Jeffrey]

Simon appears incredibly carefree despite times when hardships fall around him. Nothing keeps him down for very long, and anything that worries him seems to fade from his memory sooner or later. He is more well known as "Guac," despite that not being his actual name. He lives with his husband, [TBD], and their three adopted children in a suburban home. He works at a fabrics and crafts small business and is close friends with his coworkers.

When Simon was a child, he had frequent negative outbursts, some from sensory overload and some from peers bullying him. During these outbursts, if addressed, he'd yell "GUAC'S NOT HERE!" After calming down and returning to his happy self, he'd just say "Oh, that's Jeff" as an explanation. Nobody really understood what this meant until he was partway through high school, when "Jeff" violently lashed out at someone for bullying one of Guac's peers. His words burned into the memory of those he lashed out at.

"Such a shame, you have nobody to protect you from the world, and from your own horrible actions. I take the burden of every negativity Simon has ever lived through, and I'm stuck here sharing this body with him. Too bad you can't escape yourselves, though."

When his family researched about this, it was discovered that Guac had DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). It was unknown as to what event or circumstances had led this to develop, (although it is implied that Guac had been through some form of traumatic experience during an instance where he'd gotten lost in the city). He had no memory of any event--only horrible nightmares that had started occurring months later.
"Jeff," or Jeffrey, had developed as a trauma holder: something for the memories and nightmares to disappear into. Any negative outbursts were part of bad memories moving from Simon to Jeffrey. It ended up a little too effective, as this had caused Guac to bear no mental pain, and left Jeffrey bearing all of it.

After gaining knowledge of being a system, the negative outbursts became infrequent and milder. Anything bad could just fade from Guac's memory in an instant. Jeffrey started to front after any nightmares, and just... randomly, as alters normally do. The least likely time for Jeffrey to front at all was while Guac was at work, though it did occasionally happen.

During his time in Art School, Guac met and got to know [TBD] due to the two of them sharing classes. Guac's major revolved around around clothing design, stuffed toys and crafts, and really just anything that had to do with fabrics. Jeffrey picked out a minor for them revolving around jewelry.

Guac felt increasingly more happy the more time he spent with [TBD] around the campus, and felt like he really understood him, negatives and positives alike. In the middle of their junior year, Guac realized he had feelings for him, and with general agreement from Jeffrey, confessed to him and came out as gay at the end of the second semester that year.

After they finished college, Guac got his first full-time job, and with [TBD] worked so they could buy a house together. After half a decade living in an apartment complex, they buy a house in the suburbs, and Guac gets his to-be-lifelong full-time job.

Shortly after they move into the house, [TBD] proposes to Guac, and they get married! GAY PEOPLE! That's what we've been waiting for! Yippie! Okay, okay. Back to the lore. Months later, they make the decision to adopt a child, and later two more. Together, the two raise the three kids, Mazia, Dominic, and Leilani, with some occasional input from Jeffrey.

One day, Guac wakes up from a horrible nightmare, jumps out of bed, and crashes into the window. Because his nightmares had all gone to Jeffrey in the past, the mere concept of a nightmare was completely past him. He was certain he saw the monsters from the nightmare outside in the trees and bushes. Later that morning, he only recalled the absolute fear, but not what he had been so afraid of.

Over the next month or two, these nightmares kept recurring, and Guac's memory of them became more and more vivid, to the point where he started having panic attacks randomly. At work, in front of his kids, you name it!

After the panic attacks reached their worst point, they just... suddenly stopped occurring for a few weeks. Guac stopped having nightmares, yet remained paranoid about them.

Once those weeks had passed, the monsters showed up once more in what felt like a normal dream, but in reality, was Guac's headspace. It quickly escalated into a nightmare, with the monsters managing to kill him while his guard is down in the dream-like headspace. Jeffrey runs in soon afterwards and kills off every last one of those monsters.

So, the nightmares are gone... but what about Guac?

Well...

Jeffrey wakes up and immediately notices that Guac's presence has completely vanished.

After a day or two of pretending to just be Guac, but not having him come back, Jeffrey takes his host's body and runs away in hopes of ridding the world of some of the things he hates most, and finding a way to make an alter reappear.

[Note: Guac does come back eventually, but I haven't brainstormed that part of the lore yet.]

Design Notes

-Guac's right ear (our left) was missing from birth, so when he was young he asked to have a green cat ear implanted on his head. It can't hear very well, but he enjoys having it!

-The four "freckles" on Guac's face are actually tattoos! He did have actual freckles as a kid, though.

-The "tail" is actually just a... comically large, faded plushie tag. it comes off the back inside of his sweater!

-Guac got permanent green ink on his fingers as a kid... like, a lot of it. It's unclear whether the faded green 25 years later is tattooed on or not...
