Boy Carter has always been forgettable. His parents even forgot to name him: his name was just a stand in placed on his birth certificate that never got corrected. He has the superpower of erasing the memories of others, and he can't make it stop. Even though his parents love him, they just can't seem to remember him most of the time, so he has lived his whole life having to take care of himself. He entertains himself by trying to get noticed in more and more outlandish and disruptive ways, aching for someone to remember he exists. Suddenly, everything changes when she meets someone just like him: a neglected girl with a photographic memory who can finally see him.
