Elam has always been described as being a Nix-Ox; stubborn and infinitely tempermental. He did his duty as farmboy dutifully, never without much of a fuss, but there were times when those not accustom to Elam would often regret pushing him a little too far. As a young man it was noted that Elam was restless and reckless, but not without purpose. He fervently tried to keep his family together even if they were not technically his family. He would bleed himself dry if it meant that his mother was safe- he was a bleeding heart that way- and that was tenfold when it came to both Hala and Lloth. There were few times he smiled but when he did it was small, never large enough for others to see. After the family was torn apart however and all of those within the walls of Amaya Lake went their own way, Elam was lost. Especially so when his mother died from sickness and he was arrested for thievery which eventually directed him onto the path of being the Nerevarine. Whether it was fate or not it was something that made Elam far more serious than before. Reality set in, if you will. After the experience of helping Morrowind go from worshipping living gods to settling into the Ashlander Ways, Elam became a recluse. As having lost his mother, father, Hala and Lloth the Nerevarine began his journey of finding purpose. He lived through the Oblivion Crisis and eventually fell off of the map entirely. Those who would speak of Morrowind would speak of him as a legend, no longer alive. That was until he met the Dragonborn, a young girl who he saw much of himself in.
