after being acquitted for the crime of burning down an orphaned children’s home that he once resided in, dezi starts a new life with a newly adopted mother. unable to find a place willing to hire him due to the stigma around his history, dezi has to resort to a job against his morals… one that could take away his freedom again.

he becomes a hitman for a renowned company called target audience, used by disgruntled millionaires and angry incels alike. this website allows a client to hire from a wide variety of themed and skilled hitmen to fit their every need. 

dezi is prized for his strange ability to trap someone in a dream like state when touching them. unfortunately, his ability leaves him with large memory gaps, leaving him confused and questioning. in fact, sometimes his paranoia has him wondering if he really was innocent for that crime so long ago.

he specializes in stealth and uses an axe as his weapon. 

strangely, for a hitman, dezi is quite squeamish and sensitive to gore. it is a wonder how he gets the job done. 

dezi is skittish and awkward, trying to figure out his new job, and avoid the occasional creep trying to hire him for the wrong thing.
