Daughter of a vigilante and asassin, Salenna Rose has always desired a life of peace. She's an extremely ballerina and tailor, as well as a deadly rouge with a stead hand and sharp accuracy.

After a horrid accident caused by Belladonna Weiss, Salenna's dreams of becoming a professional ballet dancer were dashed. Her closest friend, Louise Newton, offered her a job as a waitress, and a place as Louise's personal assassin. While deadly, Salenna is far from blood thirsty. She only kills when necessary and never raises her steel to the innocent.

Salenna is a rather reserved but kind young woman. She's more of an observer rather than a talker or persuader. She's fiendishly intellegent as well as strongly independent. Despite this independence, she's values her friends and her family greatly, and almost everything that she's done throughout her life is for her friends/family... both living and dead.

Magic

Salenna learned her magic from her mother. Both her mother and her biological father were both well equipt with fey magic. She can teleport, control plant life, and has access to a variety of enchantment spells, illusions and healing magic.

Weapons

Most of Salenna's weapons are disguised as sewing/knitting tools. Scissor shaped rapiers, sewing needles as throwing knives and knitting needles as daggers. This makes her weapons easy to access, easy to hide and practical in many many ways.

Evlish Heritage

Both of Salenna's birth parents are elves, making her one herself. It is often said that the Roses were always protectors of Hollow Port.

Police

Salenna is very anti-police. While not very vocal on her stance, she has a strong preference for vigilante justice, as police are always being proven to be corrupt and bought out by larger crinimals.

Salenna Diana Rose was born to Lafayette Florent Rose, a well meaning police officer, and Marie-Françoise Verninac Rose, a famed ballerina.

Salenna's father, Lafayette had come from a family that has always been known for protecting the people of Hollow Port from the shadows. However, Lafayette did not believe in vigilante justice, opting to use his family's teaching in order to be a police officer instead.

The cost of corruption.

Before Salenna was born, Lafayette was well known for catching small time gangs and keeping the streets of Hollow Port clean of corruption. However, he would often find himself being overworked, due to most of his fellow officers not being able to keep up with his efforts... or rather they choose not to. One day, Lafayette was called into the office of Mr. Weiss, the most powerful mob boss in Hollow Port. It was there that Lafayette was given a deal to contine to work under Mr. Weiss, by catching smaller time gangs while leaving his men alone. When Lafayette, refused at first, Mr. Weiss then threatened the detective's wife and daughter.

The Weiss Family

Lafayette became miserable. The Weiss family were breathing down his neck in order to keep him in line. He started to drink heavily and couldn't even be in the presence of Salenna or Marie, deeming himself unworthy of their presence. However, along side being a graceful ballerina, Marie was also the daughter of the most dangerous assassin known to man, and trained under him as well. As she witness her husband's decline, she would quickly discover that Mr. Weiss was the cause of it, and saught to end his life with her own hands. Despite her best efforts, this would back fire on her, and Mr. Weiss would order that Lafayette kill his wife. Lafayette refused, instead opting to brutally wound Mr. Weiss by trapping them both in a warehouse explosion. Sadly, Lafayette would die in the explosion.

Salenna was only 3 years old when her father died so she doesn't remember much about Lafayette. However, she does remember her mother being a weeping widow that mourned most of her childhood. Despite this, Marie would find comfort and jot in the little outfits that Salenna would make. When she was 16, her mother would remarry to a man by the name of Leon Delcroix. Leon was a kind man raised in Paris and came to america to start his own fashion line. He started work as a costume designer for theatre and that's how he and Marie met. Salenna loved Leon the two would bound over their love of sewing at fashion. 16 was also the age that Salenna would enter ballet school with dreams of becoming a ballerina like her mother. However, it would never come to be. Salenna was best friends with Louise Newton at the age of 21 and convinced her to break up with her girlfriend at the time, Belladonna Weiss. In response, Belladonna orgainzed a hit that would result in Salenna recieving a horrific leg injury during one of her recital. This would utlimately ruin her ballet career before it even began. Even with her dreams crushed, Salenna carried on, eventually finding a job at her best friend's speakeasy and hotel, "The Bellowmight."
