Avalan comes from, as you know, Verteral Rise in Ethium. What is Verteral Rise, anyway? Verteral Rise is the tallest mountain in all of Aexeran, and is one of the few mountains that radiate high amounts of Magikae to protect the nearby settlements. Deep inside this mountain is a dragon-kin family, who have been living there for hundreds of years. The dragon-kin in that family had developed traits of ice and snow for living so close to a source of abundant Magikae, and even received some 'celestial' gifts, which are notably around their horns. Avalan was of the few from said family who migrated out of Verteral Rise, wanting to do more than to live on a mountain of ice. They wanted to see more than the endless blizzards. Wanted to feel more. So Avalan left, and departed for Levitus, Echana.

Levitus. Welcome to Levitus. Avalan finds themself in a strange, new world, filled with many new... things. The bustling of the streets, so many people... It is all too strange. Walking through here, is strange. A lone dragon-kin in a new world. Avalan wasn't really keen on staying here, so like many other people possessing wings, they spread out their wings to fly. They soared through the air, until they weren't really paying attention and crashed into someone. Someone called... Yxronra.

"Please pay attention to where you're flying...!" With those words, Avalan snapped back to reality. When Avalan came back to notice who they had crashed into someone, Avalan realized that Yxronra was a dragon-kin. "I'm sorry. I wasn't quite paying attention. By chance, are you a dragon-kin as well?" they asked. After a few minutes of conversation, they quickly bonded with each other, and Yxronra led Avalan to where they needed to go. They said their farewells, but exchanged addresses in case they ever want to contact the other. Of course, Avalan doesn't know Yxronra's rather dark occupation and past status, but it doesn't hurt much to not know, right? Avalan then departed for Quietus, Ashiotho, yet still hanging onto the short memory of meeting Yxronra.

Quietus isn't really true to its name. Similar to Levitus, it was still bustling and loud, though with a lot less people. Avalan had already been in contact with their new employer, and had been provided the accommodations for which they would live (yes, Yxronra does have this address). Settled shortly after arriving in the city, Avalan met up with the employer. They discussed everything from salaries to requirements, schedules to things they may be asked to do. Avalan filled out several forms, and soon left the office after receiving their new job: Guardian.

The next day, Avalan clocked in for work. They had spent a few hours spent memorizing what they are required to do yesterday, so they were feeling somewhat confident. In less than a day, they had received a long letter from Yxronra wishing luck. Avalan slipped into their new clothes. Relatively light. They headed towards the Tree of Life, the sun still rising from ... who knows where. There are already Guardians patrolling the Tree itself, but that's not Avalan's job. Their job? Be a tour guide for those visiting the Tree, and monitor the people that visit it. After being introduced to the people, Avalan knew, this will be a job they are willing to give their all for.

Avalan uses her Magikae and creates a shield of ice that protects any one ally of your choice. When an enemy attacks said ally with this shield, the shield breaks, and the attacker takes Cryokinesis damage. On multi-hit attacks, this shield will block all hits and shatter on the last one, however will only deal damage on the last hit.

Upon usage of this skill, all allies (including Avalan themself), double their Dexterity and increase all Attack by 24%. This effect lasts for 3 rounds. While this effect is active, any damage taken is increased by 16%, and upon taking damage, that ally loses this buff for one round.

Unleashing the Aeternus from the depths of Verteral Rise, all enemies take massive Cryokinesis damage, and have their Attack halved for 3 rounds. While this effect is active, all enemies also have their Defense drop by 16%.

All attacks that target allies have a 32% chance to redirect themselves to Avalan. For every 2 times this effect happens, Avalan regains 20% of their maximum Health.
