mitsu was once a proud bee next in line for royalty; she stood ready to inherit her mother's throne...that is till the young princess realized she wasn't interested in the other prince bees like her friends and mother so eagerly wanted to match her with. quite the opposite, in fact. fearing her mother's disapproval mitsu made the choice to run away and never look back. 

she now finds herself in crystalopolis and hopes to never be recognized for the royalty she is. she would rather be alone and free than stuck in the confines of her parents' hive.

she took her family heirloom with her, a golden honey dipper, not to be greedy, but because it is a constant reminder of how she has failed her family line. she treasures it but also feels a great sadness wash over her whenever she takes the time to look at it.
