Saffron

Saffron or "Saff" was tainted by Dungeon magic as an infant in the womb due to his adventurer mother's escapades (hence his gem horns). He was labelled a monster early on and so his mother took him to live in her favorite dungeon to escape the stigma. His mother died by the hands of ignorant adventurers who thought Saff was a monster variant posing as a luminette, causing him to kill the entire party.

He was picked up by Key due to their shared desire to keep adventurers out of Dungeons and Saff's ability to bulid complex hidden traps with his magic. Saff is basically a mid-boss who likes appearing to the group after his traps are sprung and cause havoc by stealing important items/supplies.

He was later assigned to help Pyre clean out adventuring parties and calls him "Big Bro", highly admiring his destructive powers. Saff especially likes teasing Mint when she appears with Chrome's group and has yet to sucessfully steal an item from her (due to her magic).
