Solace

Solace is bold, faithful, quiet, and loyal. They are a trustworthy  friend and a talented fighter with a tendency to dream big. Despite  seeming stern and stoic to those who don't know her, she's actually  awkward and sweet, and loves to spend free time playing games with the  moth caterpillars. She/They, Bi/Ace

A moth who before the arrival of the Pale King, Solace was a devoted  paladin of the Radiance. She guarded her home from beasts and traveled  the perilous lands to deliver messages to the other ancient tribes of  the land that would become known as Hallownest. They were a bold hero,  but when the Pale King came and the Radiance began to fall out of favor  with the moths, Solace feared the consequences. Plagued by dreams of an  all-ending darkness, she decided to challenge the King to a duel to the  death, in the hopes of returning her people to the Radiance's light. She  was killed by the King's knights before ever even meeting him face to  face. Her ghost dwells at the Peak of Hallownest, forever in prayer that  her people be spared; unbeknownst to the ghost, her prayers are decades  too late.
