prowler

an umbreon that got trapped mid-evolution because he was fatally wounded. under the moon he was miraculously granted a second chance at life, though the golden rings he was supposed to have had were bled from his throat in his passing- now silver in lunar resemblance. he stalks the earth as a dark/ghost type, endlessly searching for the one who 'ruined' the form he was supposed to take.

Prowler is an adult, though a little smaller than the typical size of an umbreon. He loathes his appearance, and will avoid mirrors and reflections as if he may die looking upon himself again.
Often when he is stressed or under a lot of pressure, Prowler will begin to “flicker” and flash brightly as if he were struggling to evolve. This is a painful experience that may result in him fainting. Despite what the flashing means, he has never advanced past his current form.
The scar around his neck seldomly acts as one of his rings, and will glow a bright silver when he’s about to do an extra powerful attack. This sometimes leaves a burning feeling in his throat, and he may be rendered mute for a couple hours.
Prowler also enjoys staring at the moon. He’s in partial belief it was the one who saved him, hence the grey coloration he’s taken, but has no idea how that would be possible. Better than having existential thoughts, he thinks highly of the moon for his life- he was meant to be an umbreon, afterall.
