Kyouko was cursed to become a monster pacapillar when she was young and she was exiled from paca society for it.
Despite the curse and her unfortunate exile, her personality remained friendly and naïve. Being constantly distracted by her surroundings, she drifted farther away from home... and her dear brother.
Ever since she was small Kyouko was always into romantic novels. Actually, she was pretty kooky about them. Even after she turned into a monster, being the hopeless romantic that she is, Kyouko still never stopped dreaming about her own happy ending. With other pacapillars being scared or avoiding her now she developed the toxic habit of falling in love with anyone who was kind to her. Although she's a very gentle girl, every advance or confession she made just made whoever she was interested in feel like she was toying with her prey.
A few decades and many failed attempts at lasting friendships later, she met Guro. Although Guro was initially only interested in her to study her curse, the thorny rose monster was absolutely ecstatic about having a new friend and in true Kyouko fashion- Started flirting with her right away. Except this time, after months of travelling together, instead of not being taken seriously or being pushed away... the poison pacapillar accepted her feelings and returned them back in full.
