In a remote place, suspended between a dreamlike and a tangible  state, where time flows so slowly it almost it's blocked, there's a  forest not too far from a town where all sorts of mages, alchemists and  sorcerers coexist peacefully. Usually, its access it's forbidden aside  from few selected occasion, as it's the place where the remains of the  citizens rest. For the careless who's still eager to explore the  intricate meanders of the greenwood, great dangers will await: the souls  of the deceased people still roam there and they don't like unexpected  visitors, so if they come too closer to them, the ghosts creep them out  relying on their fears. If they're lucky, however, a gentle woman would  plead the souls to stop and invites the explorers to follow her to her  home to reassure them with a tea and redirect them safely to their  homes.

Lucía, this is the lady's name, would  then present herself as the elected guardian of the forest, a  necromancer whose duty is to protect the souls' rest and to mediate  between the living and the dead. She leaves alone in a small house and  the only company she has are her protected souls and the animals she  breeds in her farm: as she's always busy with the care of the ghosts and  the farms, she doesn't suffer too much from solitude. If she does,  however, she would ask her ancestors' souls, who always accompany her,  to read again one of the few books she has in her shelf or to  experiments in her brewery, as she attempts to create a potions that  would allow to improve her weak sight.

At a  first glance it's difficult to tell her real intentions: as she's always  lost into her stream of thoughts, she wouldn't speak much and the few  times she would use such a vague lexicon she would leave an unsettling  impression on others. She's extremely secretive about herself,  especially regarding her life before joining the magical community but  if someone in the living is skeptical about her, the souls trust her. In  facts, she's a gentle and compassionate witch who uses her powers as a  way to help people to face their mournings, to accept their own  mortality, therefore to embrace life serenely. The few times she leaves  the forest, only if she's called she visits people on the verge of death  and helps their eventual families to evoke their ancestor's souls, as a  rite of the upcoming junction and guaranteeing them peace.

Lucía  has a remarkable strong will: that would benefit her for her hard work,  even in spite of her limited sight, but allows her to develop an  unhealthy obsession whenever problems may affect her protected, herself  or even her values and would recur to emotional manipulation to reach  her goals. While she may have noble intentions, they blind Lucía so much  that she wouldn't even recognize her errors until she fails miserably  and that's too late to fix.

Despite not having a  developed sense of humor, Lucía can exhibit some sarcasm, when annoyed  or stressed, and would struggle to understand what's so funny about her  deadpan lines.

In recent times, Lucía is  worried by the ever increasing number of a special type of soul: while  they're still clearly human, they're barely able to speak and instead  manifest an apparently inexplicable aggressiveness that the woman and  the other ghosts are barely able to contain. The witch seems to already  grasped their origin but for the moment seems unwilling to openly  discuss with others. She only deems herself responsible for their mere  existence and wishes, even if she didn't find a solution yet.
