About

Even as an angel, Dalilah never stood out. Being from the lower hierarchy, she was in charge of the messaging area. She worked as a scribe and messenger, carrying messages between the human world and the Eternal Paradise. And because she never performed as well as the others, she began to sin. Leading her to become a demon of laziness.

That's how she was expelled and that's how she came to know that world in a different way. But she didn't care like others about her new state. She just wanted to sleep.

But to rest well, it's needed to eat well. And to eat it's needed to earn money. So she accepted a position as a waitress at Domus Voluptatum and got what she needed to continue existing and satisfy her need for rest. Although with all this, she came to meet other colleagues. Among them, Elias. A grumpy demon who seems less grumpy when she's around.

Personality

Dalilah has always hated being rushed. She is hardworking, but never excessively so. Except when she really feels extremely tired. She is then much slower than usual and she receives some complaints from Sefora, but she doesn't care too much either. Just like she didn't care about them before as an angel.

She always looks dull, with a monotonous and soft voice. Despite this, her presence is comforting. Maybe because of the aura she has as a demon of laziness or because, despite everything, she is kind and attentive enough to others.

She doesn't care what others have to say about her. She doesn't care about their compliments or complaints, except when they come from her most precious beings. She doesn't care what the environment is like, seeing a lot of people makes her curious. And see very little too.

She is usually very close to those around her, that is if she trusts them. So it comes naturally to her to use a friend's arm as a pillow or maybe even lie down next to them and sleep curled up.

Design notes

Her design is based on an American Woodcock. With a mostly light color palette and some dark accents. Her eyes are gray, like those of all the demons of laziness. And she has claws and an anatomy that is part humanoid and part animal. Around her face, which looks like a mask, there is a large amount of plumage or fur. And in the neck area, too. What is on her head looks like a scarf, but it is actually a hairy membrane that looks like it. On her face there is a pattern of marks and her eyes have long eyelashes and very marked circles under her eyes.
