Shino is a free spirit in every sense of the word. As a photoblogger, he spends a lot of his time on the road, in between hot-spots and back rounds to capture as many photos that he can of the food, the culture, and the scenery around him. He's quite notable, though no one has ever actually seen his face.

Shino prefers to live by the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words," allowing his work to speak for him in the place of actual conversation. He can come off as distant and aloof, and speaks very monotonously, which has given him a bit of a local repulation of being cold. In reality, he is extremely friendly, but he's plagued by anxiety and a flat affect that makes it hard for him to express himself properly.

He finds most of his comfort alongside his boyfriend, Frankie. They met by chance while Shino was taking pictures at a local park, and somehow the eclectic franken-tiger was able to understand him better than anyone else he'd ever spoken to in his life, and he introduced Shino to some friends with the same talents. Fast forward a few months later, and Frankie's van home became the perfect way for Shino to live in comfort with the one he loves while still commiting to his work as a photographer.
