Owl is the most mature out of the three (or what he considers to be mature). Although not the oldest, he cares for his siblings and mother to a fierce degree. If you look at them the wrong way, if Sootsky doesn't get to you first you can bet Owl will. He doesn't take well to insults and will probably insult you back. He isn't afraid to include the use of his claws either. Sootsky might be the deputy, but he is just a warrior.

Owl doesn't talk much. If you catch him in the right mood he'll talk for hours, but usually he's the quiet type. It gives him plenty of time to be the smartest of the three too. Flint might be the prankster, but she didn't really think things through. Snap is just a big softy. Owl prefers to stick close to someone he is close with in his non-verbal episodes. He can't be forced out of it, reduced to paw gestures and incoherent mumbles. Only few select cats know what causes him to shift into this state, but he doesn't recover from it easy.

Owl is extremely jumpy, feeling as if someone is always watching over his shoulder. He is also nervous constantly. He feels as if anyone and everyone is out to hurt him, a result of some of his past mistakes concerning other clan cats. This panicked state only increases with lack of sleep, which he seems to oscillate a lot between getting enough and not getting any. Still, he tries to hide it in favor of making something out of himself since his accident. He has also gained a slight stutter, flucuating with nervousness and fear. Normaly however it is negligable.
