retro rainbow is the youngest son of rainbow dash and thunderlane. he is very close with both of his parents and his brother, starchaser. rainstorm rapids is a bit of a stranger to him. he knows she exists, and they've met a few times, but he doesn't know her well.
retro reflects a lot of young dash's attitude. he is overconfident and always overeager to jump into situations he may not belong in. he is always buzzing with energy and it has always been difficult for his parents to keep him from bouncing off of the walls.
retro cuts his own hair...and therefore it is a little all over the place. much to rainbow's disdain, he also trims some of his feathers - leaving from in different shapes.
retro uses "dude" and "babe" a lot in his daily speech. this is not gender specific.
ex. "DUDE THAT WAS SO AWESOME!!"
ex. "you're just jealous, babe <3"
