They collect data on the various fauna and flora in rainworld and you may be thinkin “bruh how tf they gonna do dat when they can’t move around” But MWHAHA this iterator has a smaller sturdier version of themself which has an anntebea ontop. They can control it from their base place thing and collect data that way. Basically they were created to observe and document the wildlife and its evolutions so yea

If this guy was actually in game you’d be able to find the broken down dead bot iterator just before you meet the actual them just because I think that’d be cool. Like the robot is pretty fuckin sturdy but the rain had gotten so bad that it just completely broke the bot Probably makes no sense at all tbh :depres: 

but yea IDK TOO MUXH IDERATOR LORE SO if this goes against canon oh well to bad
