Ahriman

Big things come in small packages. Or rather, very vain and self-obsessed things come in small packages. No, that's not right either. What else comes in small packages? A possessive nature? A fiery temper? The need to defend 'his' people? A hidden fear that he can't live up to the expectations of others? Wow, actually those are all really bad things to put in packages.

Ahriman is a World Serpent, a species of massive wingless dragons who were once believed to raise and fell mountains with their movement, cause earthquakes and thunder, rain down fire from the heavens with their anger, and were feared overall as deadly omens. Some, like the mythical Jormungandr, held the whole earth in their grasp. Their myth is considerably less believed now than it used to be, but the once-mighty World Serpent royal lineage still cling to their former glory long after it has passed.
