PERSONALITY TRAITS

Thio is highly faithful to his deity, the one to whom he owes his life. If they'd had a bit of a more...sacred dynamic, then perhaps Thio might have become a cleric. But given the nature of his deity, and the fact that the deity stole several months worth of memory from him...well, a Warlock is much more fitting. Despite knowing that his god took several months of memory, Thio is perfectly content serving his deity, spreading the news that his deity is not what the fanatic cults make him out to be.

Thio is rather friendly, but he would not consider himself outgoing. He enjoys cooking, reading, and animals. Although animals seem to not like him back.

IDEALS

Faith. I trust that my deity will guide my actions. I have faith that if I work hard, things will go well.

Thio is very faithful to his deity, owing the being his life. Although he has no memory of his life before his deity rescued him, and sent him on his path, he has full faith that his deity has his best interests at heart. And he is not bothered about learning who he was before...whatever happened.

BONDS

My deity rescued me from those who corrupt his teachings, I must repay him by teaching the truth to all who will hear it.

Thio doesn't know what his life was like before his deity rescued him, but he will share the truth of his deity to all who will hear. Most who know of his deity know of the fanatical cults that worship the deity to a point of corruption, Thio's mission is to correct these images, and to share the truth of his deity.

FLAWS

Thio has no memory of his life before his deity rescued him. This includes his creation. Thio believes with all his "heart", that he is a perfectly normal human. He does not know that he is a highly advanced Warforged.

FEATURES AND TRAITS

CONSTRUCTED RESILIENCE: You have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage, You don’t need to eat, drink, or breathe, You are immune to disease, You don't need to sleep, and magic can't put you to sleep.

SENTRY'S REST: When you take a long rest, you must spend at least six hours in an inactive, motionless state, rather than sleeping. In this state, you appear inert, but it doesn’t render you unconscious, and you can see and hear as normal.

INTIGRATED PROTECTION: Your body has built-in defensive layers, which can be enhanced with armor, You gain a +1 bonus to Armor Class, You can don only armor with which you have proficiency. To don armor, you must incorporate it into your body over the course of 1 hour, during which you must remain in contact with the armor. To doff armor, you must spend 1 hour removing it. You can rest while donning or doffing armor in this way. While you live, your armor can't be removed from your body against your will.

ELDRITCH INVOCATIONS:

  • When you cast eldritch blast, add your Charisma modifier to the damage it deals on a hit.
  • You can see normally in darkness, both magical and nonmagical, to a distance of 120 feet
  • When you cast eldritch blast, its range is 300 feet.
  • You can read all writing.

PACT OF THE TOME: Your patron gives you a grimoire called a Book of Shadows. When you gain this feature, choose three cantrips from any class's spell list (the three needn't be from the same list). While the book is on your person, you can cast those cantrips at will. They don't count against your number of cantrips known. If they don't appear on the warlock spell list, they are nonetheless warlock spells for you. If you lose your Book of Shadows, you can perform a 1-hour ceremony to receive a replacement from your patron. This ceremony can be performed during a short or long rest, and it destroys the previous book. The book turns to ash when you die.

HEALING LIGHT: At 1st level, you gain the ability to channel celestial energy to heal wounds. You have a pool of d6s that you spend to fuel this healing. The number of dice in the pool equals 1 + your warlock level. As a bonus action, you can heal one creature you can see within 60 feet of you, spending dice from the pool. The maximum number of dice you can spend at once equals your Charisma modifier (minimum of one die). Roll the dice you spend, add them together, and restore a number of hit points equal to the total. Your pool regains all expended dice when you finish a long rest.
