Athanasia Asteraceae, the Saintess of the God of ██████

Summary

Like a modern day Otaku's fantasy, Park Min-jun woke up as Athanasia or Athy in the world of The Trash of the Count's Family, a novel she cherished yet had not finished prior to her waking up. Unfortunately, she was greeted with the dead bodies of a cult, her parents among them. She knew no one named 'Athy' present in the novel but knew that her best bet at staying alive was to cling onto the thigh of the main character. So off she goes, with the very mild memories present of the former Athy, towards the Estate of the Henituse Family.

As the story progresses, Athy was presented with a rather odd situation. The story did not match what was currently happening. Choi Han had failed to protect Cale and Raon... He had died. In panic, Athy activates one of her abilities, Rewind, to reset what had happened before that scenario. At the sudden backlash of using her ability, the God of ██████ appears before her and explains why she was summoned: to make sure the everything follows the events from the novel as close as she could make it so. With her rewind and checkpoint ability, it grants her unlimited use to reroll the events of the day to achieve the perfect outcome.

Later on during the Regression Arc, it is revealed that the God of ██████ chose her specifically due to her stubborn will to stay alive and previously, due to her patience with rerolling gacha games.

Personality

Athy was considerably jittery and ditzy (thus earning her Ditzy Athy nickname from Raon) at the start of the story, especially upon meeting Cale and Choi Han first hand. As time goes by, Athy loosens up, joking around more and letting lose her rather cheery nature. Alberu had described her as "all sparkles and bloom" at first sight, though he does remark later on how much she is a sore loser and hates losing.

Upon finding their distant relation with Rosalyn, Athy asks her for magic lessons (which Rosalyn accepts with fervor) and the two end up becoming close. Rosalyn notes that Athy sometimes tends to be a bit spacy and carries somewhat of a heavy burden in her eyes but she assumes its because of Athy's parents' death and the collapse of their barony. In truth, she is perhaps exhausted due to the number of times she had used her ability, taking a toll on her mentally and physically.

Athy turns rather fierce and helpless during improbably scenarios of her friends dying and desperate to find the one probability beyond zero. She is snappier, angrier, and more desperate up until she had gained her Probability Reading ability. Cale had at one point called her out for snapping at On and Hong which she ends up sobbing and breaking down, apologizing before once again repeating the events to avoid a rather gruesome scenario.

As Min-jun, we see that she is level-headed and stubborn, refusing to give up despite their world in an apocalypse setting. She is not afraid of blood and gore and will move forward despite the setbacks. Scavenging for food had made her rather silent, but during times when she is forced to socialize for trade, she manages a mask of a cheery survivor.

Trivia

Certain Trivia to both Athy and Min-jun apply but also there will be spoilers for the Regression Arc and for some important events in the novel. Keep in mind that the story is continuously updating as well, so some information may be outdated by the time we get caught up.

• In one instance of Athy and the God of ██████ talking, we hear them mention about how she got the lucky roll and was taken to TCF instead of ORV. The girl that was said to be taken to ORV was Min-jun's friend.
• Her apocalypse world is a parallel branch off of our own--the pandemic happened but the result of quickly making and spreading an incomplete vaccine lead to the arrival of a zombie apocalypse instead. Unlike the usual tropes found in novel apocalypses, the humans did not gain any abilities or advantage over the undead. The undead evolve as well, but not with abilities. They tend to rot less, run faster, learn to bend joints, etc.
• Min-jun once stated that her favorite character is Choi Han and had a crush on him but ended up liking Alberu's character more.
